I know that money is important and necessary for all of us, but you need to take it easy because chasing money will lead you to stress and frustration if you see it more as a goal. I could see a problem after seeing the Netflix documentary “Buy Now” that people had wasted money to buy a lot of things for no reason. That’s why we need to see that it shouldn’t be treated as a goal and here’s ways of how we see it as a tool:
“Money is only a tool. It will take you wherever you wish, but it will not replace you as the driver.”
Define your financial purpose:
Once you understand that money is a tool, you need to start to ask yourself what you need to use this tool for and must consider what role that money plays in your life and how you can use it to archive your goals
Make a plan for your money:
Make a financial plan ( Track your spending,
Set value based goals
Set goals that are aligned with your values.
Plan for satisfaction
Consider how you can use money to improve your life and make it more fulfilling.
Don’t use money as a crutch
Be careful not to become so dependent on money that you forget how to live without it.
Spent money with purpose or reason:
Consider your values, goals, budget, needs, and your money habit or do intentional spending that is a practice of making purchases that align with your financial goals.
Conclusion:
Viewing money as a tool can really help your life and made you feel less bad about spending. This positive mindset will help you focus on using it to achieve your goals and improve your financial wellbeing.
